"Good Habits are the base for any productivity practice, learned over time. Having good habits will lead you to an effective life as they create a routine and order. Initially, the new behavior needs to be repeated over and over so that it becomes a habit. After repeating it, it becomes ingrained into your subconscious and in turn, these habits are done without too much thinking. Habits make you who you are. If you don’t like where you are right now, change your habits to get a new outcome.
Habits are the basic building blocks of reaching any goal. Some habits are easier to form than others, but they all need to begin with you wanting to incorporate this good habit into your life. Habits can be challenging at the start when you first incorporate them but they get easier with time.
How does something become a habit? Our brains need to convert a sequence of actions into an automated routine. This sequence occurs for any habit, good or not so good/. There is a four-step loop that needs to occur. The four steps are cue, craving, response, and reward. The first is the cue, the cue that tells the brain to initiate the behavior. The second is craving, the reason why we do what we do. The third is response and the fourth is the reward the habit gives you and then the loop starts again.
Initially, it takes effort from you such as setting an alarm but soon if you repeat it enough it becomes a habit that you miss if you do not do it. There are a number of small things you can do every day to develop good healthy habits to live a long and ACTIVATED life. I have mentioned strategies to develop good healthy habits. Choose your favorite ones and incorporate them into your daily life."
